Puratos at the Bakers Fair
Live demonstrations with the new 'Belcolade Easy Temper Chocolate', Christmas patisserie suggestions and artisan style breads made using O-tentic, the Puratos stand at the Bakers Fair in Bolton was brimming with ideas for all occasions.
The doors opened at 9.30 to a steady flow of visitors to the Bakers Fair in Bolton, totaling over 400 visitors, including bakers from all over the country and members of the Richemont club.
The Easy Temper concept is a new innovation from Belcolade, consisting of a new range of chocolate (Easy Temper Noir, Lait and Blanc) which when mixed with the cocoa butter supplied results in fully tempered Real Belgian Chocolate.
All you need is the Easy Temper Starter kit and a microwave. To demonstrate just how easy this process is and how good the results are, Puratos demonstrator Phil Bainbridge with the help of an assistant from the crowd tempered the chocolate and piped it into disks.
The crowds were very impressed and all the samples disappeared in record time. Samples included 'mendiants' and 'crispy' (follow the easy to make recipes available in the recipe section of the website).
After tasting, the recipe cards were snapped up for the Christmas ideas including Spiced orange cake, Christmas slice, Christmas truffles, Christmas tartlets and chocolate logs made using a variety of products including Tegral fruit cake mix and Satin Creme Cake Mix.
The taste of the good old days - Puratos new bread improver O-tentic was displayed with a variety of different flavours from Cranberry and Honey to Cinnamon and Sultana and of course original, available for people to try.
Made with Durum wheat it gives that authentic Italian style bread with a free reign of creativity to develop a new range of breads. Perfect for Artisan style breads.
