Although EU legislation permits the use of up to five per cent vegetable fat in chocolate production, at Puratos we believe the best quality and best tasting organic Belgian chocolate can only be created using one-hundred per cent cocoa butter.

For Puratos, chocolate production takes place at its Belcolade division in Erembodegem, near Brussels. For the chocolatiers at Belcolade, the creation of chocolate is an art. Using totally organic ingredients we practice true Belgian couverture craftsmanship and create dark, milk and white organic chocolate that's tempered for a perfect shine, texture and snap.
