New Consumer research highlights the demand for more luxurious baked goods this Easter. Puratos has some fabulous finishes and inclusions such as Belcolade real Belgian chocolate which bakers can use to enhance their offer.
Puratos recently ran a series of focus groups which looked at what consumers want and expect from their local bakers this Easter, and found significant demand exists for simple goods that deliver a more indulgent and satisfying eating experience. Consumers state the need for 'wickedly indulgent' cakes, muffins and tarts, where luxury, pleasure and taste are everything and whats really good news is that they would happily pay more for those products that deliver more.
