I’ve been working at Puratos for 10 years and before that spent 4 years working as a patisserie chef in a hotel and country club. I first joined Puratos as and R&D Manager on Fillings before progressing to Senior R&D Manager for Patisserie and managing a team. Gaining real hands-on experience in hospitality and in industrial settings as well as working directly with industrial, semi-industrial and retail partners has prepared me for the next step in my career…

Accelerating innovation

I’m excited to be moving into a new role in 2026 when I’ll be starting as a Technical Sales Manager. This role combines a deep understanding of customer and consumer needs as well as product functionality, and will see me using my formulation and applications expertise to do more problem solving for customers and accelerate fillings projects. I will be able to deliver innovation faster by briefing more accurately and understanding the samples before they get to customer. I can also bring the filling to life with customers and offer real support in terms of usage and processability. 

I can speak the language of the developer.

From concept to launch

I love the creativity and customer engagement I have at Puratos; it’s a passion of mine bringing products from concept to launch. And the new product capabilities at the Buckingham plant will mean even more creativity is possible; we’re now able to make custards, Cremfil Ultim 2G, which is a very smooth water based cream filling, and we’ll be able cool white, creamy products more efficiently.
