Buckingham Centre of Excellence
In 2026, Puratos UK opens a brand new, state-of-the-art production plant in Buckingham - a major milestone that strengthens our leadership in bakery, patisserie and chocolate ingredients for the UK market.
This new 2750 sq.ft. facility brings together our fillings and sourdough production, previously based in Liverpool, with our longestablished powder blending operations that have been part of the Buckingham community for more than 30 years. The result is an integrated production site designed to deliver exceptional quality, consistency and innovation for our customers.
The expanded Buckingham unites technical expertise across bakery and patisserie with operational best practices creating a hub where innovation thrives through collaboration and customers can work side by side with our teams to develop standout ingredients for the UK bakery.
The new plant will also be BRCGS certified, recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) — reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Puratos Fourayes
Puratos Fourayes is the UK's number one grower and processor of fruit. Located in Kent, the BRC AA rated factory is surrounded by our 100-acre English Bramley apple orchard, which along with the nearby farms we also buy from, is Red Tractor Farm Assured.
In 2022 Fourayes, a family run business, became part of Puratos, a fellow family-owned business with over 100 years of rich and varied knowledge in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate. It was an ideal fit with both companies being customer-focused and heritage-rich with innovation, people, and sustainability at their core.
Puratos Fourayes is part of the Puratos local and transparent fruit sourcing programme.
Fringford Innovation Centre
Fringford Innovation Centre, based in heart of the countryside near Bicester, Oxfordshire is the Puratos UK hub for innovation and new product development for both Puratos and our customers. Fringford is the heartbeat of our R&D team.
